History
A parish church dependent on the Premonstratensian community of Knechtsteden. It was given to Knechtstden in 1212 by Lothar, count of Hochstaden. In 1320, Knechtsteden sold its rights over the church to the Collegiate Church of Maria ad Gradus, Mainz.
