About
The "Premonstratensian Atlas" website arises out of my research on the involvement of women with the Premonstratensian religious order in twelfth- and thirteenth-century northern France. It aims to provide a kind of digital gazetteer to sites in the possession of the Premonstratensian Order across Europe and the Mediterranean region during the Middle Ages.
New pages will be added here over time. This is an inclusive rather than exhaustive resource, and suggestions for sites to include are welcome.
