History
The parish church of Lestre was given to the Premonstratensian abbey of Blanchelande in the 12th century by Eudes le Bouteiller, lord of Lestre and Escalleclif. It was badly damaged during the Hundred Years' War.
The former parochial house of Lestre was turned into the mairie (town hall) in 1987.
