History

In 1204, Robert Malvesin gave land at Monacqueville to the Premonstratensian abbey of Blanchelande to build a priory there.

There were brothers present at Monacqueville until 1710s. Since that point, it has been a farm. The property was auctioned off at the Revolution.

Today the site, including the medieval chapel, is in private hands.
