History
An obscure house which is attested in some sources from the late 13th century. It likely disappeared in the 14th century. Backmund speculated that Themenitz was the name of a street or suburb in the city of Brandenburg, and that it housed a precursor community to the priory of Harlungerburg. It was more likely located in the Temnitztal (Temnitz Valley), about 60km north of Brandenburg.
