History

A priory dependent on the Premonstratensian abbey of Marcheroux, founded by Thibaud de Marly in 1170. Due to its poverty, the priory was dissolved in 1716.

Some of the priory buildings survived until the late 19th century, when they were demolished to make way for later construction. Since the 1980s, the mairie of Carrières-sous-Poissy has stood on the site.

Not to be confused with St Blaise (Windberg).
