The priory of La Lande was dependent on the Premonstratensian abbey of Blanchelande, and was built on land given in 1213 by Richard de Reviers.
There was a 15th-century residence on the site until 1944, when it was burned down. The building was partly reconstructed and is today in private hands.
Not to be confused with La Lande (Aisne).
