History
A priory founded likely between 1245-80. The history of Darnó is obscure, and it seems to have always been a small house. It was associated with the Telcsva kindred.
Today the site is in a remote woodland location, and only scattered ruins remain. The site has been partly excavated in the 1970s and again in the 2000s.
