History
The priory of Boismont was founded in 1193 by Dreux de Meulan and Ade, lord and lady of Boismont, and Guillaume, a canon of Beauvais and brother of Dreux. It originally was a dependant house of Ressons; from the 14th century, it was a dependant house of the Premonstratensian abbey of Abbecourt.
The community was suppressed in 1790, and its church is now the parish church.
