History
A community of Premonstratensian women dependent on the abbey Valsery. Javages was established on land given by Raoul, count of Vermandois in the first half of the 12th century. It appears to have been dissolved at some point during the 13th century.
The site is now a farm in private hands. In the mid-20th century, Backmund noted the remains of a chapel at Javages, then in use as a barn.
