History
The parish church of Staré Hobzí was a possession of the Premonstratensian abbey of Louka by 1190. From 1564, the church was administered by secular priests owing to the financial difficulties of the abbey of Louka. From 1641, the church was again dependent on Louka.
Following a major fire in the 1790s, the church was substantially rebuilt. The church underwent further alterations during the 19th century. It burned down again in 1913 and was rebuilt in the 1920s.
