History
A priory dependent on the abbey of Prémontré which was founded on land given to the abbey by the chapter of Saint-Quentin. A number of the order's General Chapter meetings were held there, in 1351, 1499, 1501 and 1508.
The priory was badly damaged during the Battle of Saint-Quentin in 1557, and the community was dissolved. The former priory building was converted into a salt warehouse. Some remains of it still existed in the 19th century.
