History
Ivanić was founded in 1246 by Stjepan II, bishop of Zagreb. Its history is unclear. For its first few years, it may have been a community of Dominican sisters before joining the Premonstratensian Order. After the 1370s, it may have been a Benedictine house. It vanishes from the historical record by the end of the Middle Ages.
