History
A small and poorly documented house, whose identification as a Premonstratensian house is not secure. It was founded in the early 12th century by Immecha, widow of Manegold von Hagen und Wirberg, and was initially a double house.
If it was a member of the Premonstratensian Order, it had become Augustinian by ca. 1286. Immichenhain was secularized in 1527.
