History
Beaumont was founded by one Ulric, originally as a double house. The men were transferred to a new community at Marcheroux ca. 1145-1150. The sisters remained at Beaumont-les-Nonains until at least the 1250s.
After the women's community was dissolved, the church remained a parish church in the possession of Marcheroux until the 1790s.
