History

A priory whose history is obscure. It was dependent on the Premonstratensian house of Lahonce, according to Roland Moreau and Norbert Backmund, although Jean Fourcade described it as Benedictine and Benoît Duvivier believed that it was only ever a private chapel.

The site is today in private hands and has been restored from a ruinous state in recent years by the Fondation René Clement.
