History

A parish church which was in the possession of the Premonstratensian abbey of Teplá.

The church was badly damaged during the Hussite Wars and had to be rebuilt, and was reconstructed again in the Baroque style in the late 17th/early 18th century. However, part of the nave likely is a survival of the original 13th century church.
