History
In 1199/1200, Archbishop Hubert Walter attempted to found a priory of Premonstratensian canons on what is now the site of Lambeth Palace. It was an abortive foundation, likely abandoned on Hubert Walter's death in 1205. However, part of the early foundations of what is now Lambeth Palace, including the lower levels of the chapel undercroft, may have been originally planned as part of the Premonstratensian house.

History
Langdon was founded 1189-1192 by William de Auberville of Westhanger. The first brothers came from Leiston. On its dissolution in 1535, the site was granted first to the archbishop of Canterbury, and then into secular ownership. <br /><br />Much of the former monastic complex was demolished, and a farmhouse was later built on the site. The site was partly excavated in the 1880s.

The abbey of Langley was founded in ca. 1195 by Robert FitzRoger, or Clavering. It was a moderately prosperous community. <br /><br />Langley was suppressed in 1536. Some ruins of the monastic complex survive. The site was partially excavated in 1908 and in 1921.

History
Leiston was founded in 1182 by Ranulph de Glanville, Chief Justiciar of England. In the mid-14th century, because of frequent flooding, the abbey was moved about 4km inland. Leiston was rebuilt there on a much larger scale. <br /><br />The abbey was suppressed at the Dissolution and the property was given to Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk. Some ruins are visible at the site today.

History
A church which was in the possession of the Premonstratensian abbey of Titchfield from the 13th century. It was given to the abbey by Geoffrey de Lomer. It remained in the hands of the abbey until the Reformation, when the crown granted it to Thomas Wriothesley.<br /><br />The village of Lomer was abandoned and the church in disuse by the end of the 16th century. Today nothing of either remains, although by tradition the church stood on a site today known as Chapel Field.

In the 12th century, the church of Middleton was granted to the Premonstratensian abbey of Leiston by Roger de Glanville. This gift was confirmed in the 1220s by Honorius III. The church remained in the possession of Leiston until the Dissolution.

History
Founded ca. 1180 by Ralph de Dene, the Premonstratensians soon moved from Otteham to Bayham because the location was considered inhospitable for a large monastic community. <br /><br />Otteham remained in the possession of the abbey of Bayham as a grange with an associated chapel. There is a surviving mid-14th-century chapel on the site.

History
Built as a parish church in the 12th century, Oxney originally belonged to the Premonstratensians of Langdon Abbey. The church fell into ruin after the Reformation. <br /><br />By the 18th century, it was in use as a barn. In the late 19th century, the ruins were re-consecrated as a family burial ground for the owners of nearby Oxney Court. The site is today in private hands.

A parish church dependent on the Premonstratensian abbey of Bradsole. It was given to the abbey in the mid-13th century by Henry de Wengham, dean of St. Martin le Grand, London, and it remained in the Premonstratensians' possession until the Dissolution. <br /><br />The current church on the site dates to the 1860s.<br /><br />The abbey may also had a grange at Shepherdswell which is now a private farm house.

History
The abbey of Titchfield was founded in 1232 by Peter de Roches, Bishop of Winchester. The first brothers came from Halesowen. It was a small and moderately prosperous house, and was the last Premonstratensian abbey to be founded in England. <br /><br />Following the suppression of the abbey in 1537, the property passed into private hands, and the monastic complex was converted into a private residence. The building was partly demolished in the late 18th century. Titchfield was partly excavated in the early 1900s.

A parish church which was in the possession of the Premonstratensian abbey of Titchfield from the 13th century. The church was given to the abbey by Peter des Roches, bishop of Winchester. It remained in the abbey's possession until the Reformation.

History
Torre was founded in 1196 by William Brewer. The first brothers came from Welbeck. By the 13th century, it was the richest Premonstratensian house in England, and held land across Devon. Edward III granted the abbey a license to crenellate in 1348. <br /><br />Torre was suppressed in 1539. The property passed into private hands and was converted into a residence. In the 1930s, the house and grounds were purchased by the local council, and Torre is now home to an art museum. In the 1980s, the former abbey church was excavated.
